Hello!

Whant to buy a rotax 912 ul, the owner told me that the engine have 0 time after major overhauls.

Isit possible to make a o-time overhaul on a rotax 912, the cylinders ar old but not worn to limit, the chrankcase is old and no history about the overhauls job. reference, work order etc.

If there's no documentation, it didn't happen...

Most folks just get a new engine because it's not that much more expensive than getting an old one overhauled.

Yes, agree, but can you make an overhaul on the engine to 0-time with ref to rotax document

You do not have a zero time engine after an overhaul. You have a 2K hour engine that had an overhaul that will reset the 2K hour overhaul time, but it still has 2K hours on it. You will have parts over 2K hours because not every parts gets replaced. Also look on the first page of the Line Maint. manual checklist. It has two entries on it. One for current time and then time since overhaul.

A zero time engine is technically a brand new engine.
