Last week at OSH, I saw a white and yellow RV-9 (N179RV) in front of the Rotax booth with a 915iS engine. It was the sleeper of the air show I thought that looked fantastic with the extended nose and three blade propeller.

I wanted to get feedback from this community about the combination of a proven airframe with a modern engine.

Thoughts and thanks in advance?

    Hello Thomas

The aircraft flew from Florida but has not yet completed some essential flight tests.  (Spin testing)  I was told that until that is completed they do not want to really say much.  While a sexy long nose looks cool they are taking the time to do all the right things before it will be made into any option for the RV9.
