"Did find one vent tube had come out of bale wire and pointed down instead of slightly forward. Repositioned"

Believe it or not that will cause it.

My airbox is custom made / modified from a ICP Savannah. Picked up about 200 rpm at WOT and had to repitch the prop.

How long are your vent tubes?

Vent tubes are long enough o go thru the bale by 1/ 2 inch or more.

Hoping the vent tube placement was the issue I attempted to fly this morning and found that after start motor wants to rev up on its own fuhhhhhh

after having same auto-rev-up both am and pm. Found gas / wetness on bottom of bowl. I'm guessing I pinched the gasket when putting back together and some kind of air leak causes the rev up ?

    Will attempt to fix soon.

Would like any input on secret to getting bowls off and on.

    thanks

well crap. had bowl of and on again. the gasket seems to be fine. why would the motor rev up on its own ??

Starts great than after pulling throttle out to settle on 2200 for warm up, only the throttle goes by itself and motor revs up.

I never let to go past 2500, but acts like it wants to. Like a spring is pulling it. Did not change anything that I know of ???
