Thank you very much for your help.
I will double check the valve. I have bought a tool called Mityvac, which does pressurise and vacuum test. I will be testing all pipes and joints soon to see if there is an air leak.
I do recall seeing some fuel that came out over a month ago from the top of the valve around the knob. It did stop and I did not see any fuel coming out after that. It may be that it is taking air. I can test this soon and will share the finding with you.
The fuel I am using is E5 mixed with 2 stroke oil. This fuel contains 5% ethanol. I am based in UK and E5 refers to 5% ethanol in the fuel.
