Subject: 582 EGT Probe
Does anyone know if its an 8mm or 1/8 fitting?
and,
When ordered in General, does the probe come with the crushable washer to assist in adjustment?

Check the 582 parts manual, it is an 8mm thread. The actual probes should be verified by your supplier. I would contact one of the iSC in the USA, perhaps APS in Wisconsin, they have lots of experience with 2 stroke.
