I have replaced the rubber ring, part nr. 850040, 152.5x2.5x5, between the cylinder head and the cylinder.
What I noticed was that the old rubber ring was different from the new rubber ring.
The old ring, lower half is appr. 3.5mm and the upper half is 2.5mm. This was not because it has been squeezed for years between the cylinder and the cylinder head, it was made like this.
The new ring is just a small rectangle of 2.5x5mm.
Also, the space where the ring has to go in is actually a bit to large, to wide, for the new ring.
The overall ring does fit in the gap but it has to much space there on the sides.
Question: Is this normal? Did I order or receive the wrong part?
Has anyone seen this before?
