Rewind starter from 90 - 99

Is It possible to use a rewind starter ( REWIND STARTER ASSEMBLY) from a Rotax 582 99 bluehead on a 582 - 90 year engine?

Due a little framework on the ULM, 99´ Staring housing fits better and also I´ve got a 99´ spare one

Starter pulley cup looks the same on both models.90 and 99

I guess it is not a good idea but just for knowledge!!
