We have already addressed the matter as follows: Rotax does not make the overhaul manual available to the general public.

I have a friend who is an A&P and also has his iRMT “Overhaul Rating”. From what I remember, Rotax does not approve an independent operator with the Overhaul Rating to actually do a complete Overhaul.  In short, he can’t split the case.  I also assume he does not have the Overhaul Manuals available to him. So, is the iRMT Overhaul Rating essentially designed for folks that work, or want to work, at an approved Rotax Overhaul facility?
