I have a client with a Rans S-7S, using a Rotax 912 ULS. There are 2 EGTs, the Right side is on cylinder #3 and the Left side is on cylinder #4.

When you start the engine both EGT temps rise normally and together...then the right EGT indicator quickly drops to almost non-existent. Adding choke or increasing the RPMs very quickly brings the EGT back in line with the left EGT.

Both carburetors were recently rebuilt by an A&P/IA using the rebuild kit. The spark plugs are all new and the carburetors have been synchronized. 

Does anyone have any experience with this or any suggestions where to look?
