Recommended 912ULS Air Filter?

If you have a Rotax airbox then it has 2 inlets, one for hot air and one for cold.  The butterfly valve selects which one you  use.  I have never seen this used with 2 filters directly, it defeats the idea of the airbox.  Normally the airbox inlets are fitted with some type of air hose to go to a filter for the cold air and one for the hot air. 

Given that the Rans is an experimental I assume you were just buying an extra filter?  In any case you will have to just make an adaptor to fit the filter, at least that seems to be the easiest way.  

Just a note for all.  K&N lost a lawsuit many years ago in a Rotax powered ultralight where the filter fell off and broke the prop.  The pilot did not do well and even though it was proven that he did not safety wire the filter the case was awarded to the plaintiff.  K&N expressly states they will not supply aircraft for that reason.  They make special filters for Rotax but these are sold with Rotax on them and liability is then on Rotax.  K&N supplies very good data on their webpages, it would be better to spend the time looking at those rather than asking them in person.  Just my opinion.

RW, perhaps I have not found the webpage you refer to.  The only one I found asks for vehicle details. There is no dimension selection/filtering system. You can trawl through likly filters, as I did and found SKU # RD-0700 (below);
