Probably purchase 10m (32ft) of "flashing" for about the same price as 2 ft of "orange fire sleeve".
If you want orange colour coordination, you will, of course, have to pay for it, just like any fashion statement😈

I save old hoses that have been replaced for the fittings AND all sorts of other unairworthy testing and such. Likely the neatest trick thing I do with that old harvested fire sleeve is to run the loom of EGT and CHT linguini wires. What I do is adel clamp (now I am talking LyContinental opposed engines) and I adel clamp the wire bundle along the oil sump and neatly draw out each cylinders required sensor wiring out of the bundle...
It really is a neat clean install. I should have pictures but I'm too humble to show off my pretty's
I'll have to look to see if any of my customers have posed their engine installs online.
