Potential for fatigue cracking around tail pipe/muffler weld.
The Rotax "tail pipe" on my installation, appears far to long to be supported at only one end (the "muffler") ie Has anyone considered using a lightweight spring, to support the Rotax tail pipe, part way between muffler and exit?
"I plugged the threaded ones with 8 mm SS plugs (available from Rotax)"
Sounds expensive ? Would not any SS M8 screw from your local nuts & bolts supplier have done the job? .😈

I've seen angled brackets welded from the muffler down onto the exiting pipe for support.
