clamping of throttle cable
The 912ULS IM section 73-00-00 page 20 specifies that the throttle cable fastening bolt 241847 should be torqued to 4NM. I am using a 1.6mm multistrand steel cable threaded through the hole under the bolt head, and pressed between it and graduated sleeve 847740. I note cable is pinched quite severely under these conditions, with noticeable damage to a number of strands within the cable, particularly the inner strands. What does the Rotax community advise?
