2 x 8mm single banjos to AN-3 works fine and is the top 2 connections in the first picture. The bottom connection is going to the pressure sensor but could be used for the fuel return line if you don't have a pressure sensor. The closest line is AN-4 from the fuel pump.
The second picture shows where the fuel return branches off from the fuel pump pressure side. That line is AN-3 and has small orifices installed directly into the -3 fittings (available from Aeroflow and Speed flow suppliers in Australia or perhaps other countries have an equivelant).
Edit: I just remembered, I had to modify one of the fittings with this arrangement. If I recall correctly, one of the threads on a fitting protruded and was close to another which would have restricted flow. So if you are to copy this, be sure to check clearances internally with all the fittings.
