Hello,

What are the experiences with the Tundra cover for the ROTAX912 oil cooler? It seems to me a neat solution and will avoid sticky tapes and other low tech devices.

Best regards Jan

    Hi Jan,

I have seen variations of this for all Rotax engines ( 2 strokes and 4 strokes). It may be okay for the cold winter, but due to the restrictive air flow around the openings it will cause over heating in the warmer summer months.

    Hi Roger,

Thanks for the input. In the summer (33 degrees C) I need the sticky tapes to get the oil temp above 90 degrees C so for my ROTAX it will probably work.

    Best regards Jan
