    Mario,

Unlike the two cycles, there is no specific break in procedure with the four cycle engine. once everything is properly installed, you are ready to fly. Follow the installation manual and operators manual before startup and you should be OK. One thing above all else MUST be done. Make sure you have followed the oil purge instructions exactly. When you start the engine, make sure you have oil pressure within seconds. Other than that, just keep a close eye on your gauges during the first warmup and runup. If everything is OK, go flying.

If I'm wrong here, someone please jump into this topic. I'd hate to see a new engine ruined.

    Bill.

    Hi Mario,

They have been run at the factory and there is no special break in, but they would like you not to run full throttle for the first hour for any extended times. Take off doesn't count.
