There appears to be a mistake in the carburettor synchronisation procedure in the 912 line maintenance manual.
Chapter 10.2 on page 32 Basic throttle adjustment. Step 5 says "Pull out the feeler gauge and then turn each idle speed adjustment screw(2) 1.5 turns counter clockwise. (emphasis mine)

In the training video, they show turning this screw clockwise, which makes more sense than counter clockwise as stated in the manual.

    Hi Scott,

    It has been that way for years and many have sent a notice in, but it has never been changed. If they ever do fix it I might fall out of my chair. :silly: There are a few other little quirks here and there.

    Depends if you are the screw or the hole. From the hole's perspective, the manual is correct. Just like the Coriolis effect. Supposed to be clockwise in the northern hemisphere. But, if you look down at a toilet when flushed, it is counter-clockwise. Looking up from the toilet, the water comes at you clockwise. Perect Austrian logic.
