Hi, today I was watching my plane and I saw that there is leakage sign's on the ground.
I opened engine hood and I saw that everything is dirty of coolant.
I looked every clamp, wather pump but everything was dirty. In my overflow bottle it was under min level (but it itsn't empty). Before last flight I had half level between max and min.
Last flight I made about 1 hour with more covered radiator. I had about 107*C CHT and 88*C Oil.

I cleaned up all, fill coolant (in main bottle i had good level).
I made test run (up to 107*C CHT) and there is no signs of leakage.
Wather pump looks good (a some time after test I can see a little of dirty cooland near drain hole but I think it's normal.

In overflow bottle level raised during test (hot engine) and fall down when cooling.

I looking for reason of last leakage. Any ideas? I wondering it is possible that cooland was boiled when I had about 107*C CHT during flight? My sensor is on right, front head.

Since there were no obvious leaks anywhere in the system, it could be a bad radiator cap or a bit of trash in the inner cap seal. You may have solved the problem when you removed the cap to check the fluid level. The outer cap seal could be OK but the inner seal could be bad, have a weak spring, etc. which would allow fluid to escape into, and overfill the overflow bottle.

It's possible... but I can never be sure :/.

Does anybody have any other idea? I's still not sure about boiling..

It sounds like it has spit some coolant out through the expansion bottle breather. If this has happened just after you have covered you radiator up a bit more then it makes sense.

Make sure you have coolant in the expansion bottle and make sure it fills when warm and empties when cool. I do this as one of my pre flight checks and teach it to all my students. When they look behind to check the fuel tap is on, they also check the expansion bottle coolant level has risen.

I would rinse all the coolant off the engine with some water and then keep an eye on it.

Is your radiator cap the old .9 bar or the newer 1.2 bar? You still may have a leak in a hose or fitting you haven't found. Start it up and let it run and around 2400 and get hot then look for your leak.

I did this. No leaks during test. I tried to warm it up to 110*C CHT and everything was totally dry.
I tried turn up to 5000RPM, no leaks.

I don't know with one cap I have. I'll check.

I going to replace all rubbers and clamps...
