What is the proper procedure on a Rotax 912 after a prop strike with a wooden propeller?

Thanks for any info or links.

    Hi Jim,

There is a series of checks to perform for a prop strike. Look in the Heavy Maint. manual in section 72-00-00 and start at 3.9. This should help. Contributing factors are what rpm was it turning, what did it hit, what type of prop and how much was damaged on the prop (i.e. just 1" of the tips or ground down to the hub. You may not have the tools or training and may need to send the gearbox to a maint. facility.
