I use 100% AVGAS with my Rotax 912ULS. I change engine oil every 25 hours. According to Rotax maintenance manual 100 hrs would be equal to 1 year. SO I assume that 50 hrs mean 6 months and 25 hrs mean 3 months. Sometimes my engine does not touch 25 hrs but according to my maintenance intervals I have to change oil after every 3 months.
Is it possible to change engine oil at 25 hrs or 6 months (whichever comes first) with 100% AVGAS?
Do lead deposits in oil has any effect on engine if that remain inside engine for more than 3 months when it has not yet reached 25 hrs operation?

    Shoaib,
Yes a 100hr inspection needs to be done every year.
But do not assume 50hrs equals 6 months and 25hrs equals 3 month, it does not.
If you only put on 24hrs in 1 year you only have to change he oil once a year.
But, an oil change every 6 months would be a nice thing to do for your engine.
The lead deposits sitting in the engine for 6 months are not a huge concern; the lead does not hurt anything. the lead in the exhaust port does seem to eat away the aluminum but that is more an operational issue than a storage issue (not sure of this but motorgliders seem to suffer this more than other types of aircraft and they tend to see less frequent engine use).
The acids and moisture built up from combustion are also a concern. Make sure you reach/sustain at least 100C oil temp each flight and if you are planning on storing the aircraft, change to oil before putting it away. It is only 3 litres and the engine will love you.
