I have the 912ULS and it is relatively new to me. It has 320 hr. on it. I have looked in the engine manual but unable to find the information I am seeking. During the start up process, my question is how long before you decide the engine and oil temp. is hot enough to take off? My CHT's are usually in the 150 F and EGT around 1000 F but oil temp is in the early yellow range approx. 130 F. Should I be waiting longer for oil temps. to get into higher temps. It seems to take forever to get the oil above 150 F on the ground even after a 5 minute warm up. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. Thx. in advance.

    Hi Terry,

You only need to let the oil get to 120F. Warm up around 2100-2300 rpm Then do your mag check and you're set to fly. Don't worry about the CHT's and the EGT's at this point.
