I have had to remove my engine due to a heavy landing. The engine is ok (it was stopped).
While working on my gyro I have decided to check the gearbox and replace the Belleville washers as a minimum (800hours). Are there any instructions about how to do this?
Thanks in advance for any advise/recommendations.

For 912/914 gearbox disassembly / inspection/ re-assembly instructions, refer to the Heavy Maintenance Manual, the gearbox section starts at 3.9 (72-00-00 page 22)

Removing the gearbox isn't tough and the video here on the website that Admin pointed to is good.
Personally I wouldn't do the inspection itself unless I had attended a Rotax Line miant or Heavy Maint. class or have someone do it that has done it before. There are things here to check for and it is possible to make mistakes or just miss something.

Thanks for the advice, the guys at my field have done this and bought a special tool so I'll pick their brains and borrow whatever I can but I just wanted to know from the forum if there were any traps to look out for.
