ASB-915 i-021iS Missing gearbox nut. Mandatory. Impacted serial numbers now missing

The issue is that you need to always select the certified version of the bulletin to get the appendix in most cases.  

For the type 915 there are 4 different descriptions for the ASB in the drop down list found at the Flyrotax.com web page. 

915 iS A  (the UL version)

915 iSc A (certified version

915 iS  A C24 (UL version)

915 iSc A C24 (certified version)  

The appendix is attached to the certified versions only.

Thanks for that. I can now find the 18 page document (with all serial numbers impacted)  not just the 2 pager.

It seems a peculiar quirk in the system that I have to remember to use the wrong engine type 915 iSc A rather than my real engine type 915 iS A, when using the search database.

It would be perhaps clearer if the 2 page document used the word certified document as the reference text. Confusingly both documents have very similar tittles. And searching on the referenced document ASB-915 i-021 / ASB-916 i-009 yields no result in the database search.

ASB-915 i-021iS R1

Hi Roger, yes thats the same one  UK regulator CAA and Europe wide  EASA have issued mandatory bulletins. Hence important to be able to get to the Rotax source documents,

Finally, a service bulletin that doesn’t apply to my serial number.  My engine failed the oil spray nozzle test and I just got the parts to make that repair.  I am thankful my serial number is earlier than all those in this gearbox bulletin.  It sure seems that Rotax quality has taken a hit on the 915.
