    This (plus a relay) might be a possibility for assuring that the aux fuel pump shuts down in the event of a crash:

    It would add complexity and failure points, but as this is on the aux fuel pump only, the only way it would affect a flight would be if the primary fuel pump had already failed. And if the primary fuel pump is powered only by the generator, then both pumps would automatically shut down in a crash.
