Team,
I noticed that almost every time I start up (914) and in the first couple minutes until warm up EGT#1 lags seriously and that can be felt by less smooth vibrations too. If I don't retard the choke then it fires much better, but that seems to also be the case if I rev up the RPM a bit too (so I am not sure if it fires better because of the choke or the higher RPM). Usually I retard the choke pretty quickly as the other cylinders run smooth. Once the engine is warm and in flight or taxi then all EGTs look good.
I checked the spark plugs (they are almost new anyway) and they look good, same color/spacing in all cylinders. Carburetors are fine and were re-balanced at 200 hours.
What could cause this? What is to check next?
Thanks.
Best regards,
Jeff
