Micro stop engine Rotax s3

All the information that we have about the incidence is the next one:

- The problem is only reproduced on flight. We've tried to reproduce it on the ground, and we haven't been able to reproduce it at 100%.

- The problem has appeared at 2200 rpm and 22" in a 9000ft flight and in a 6500ft flight (this last today)

- At this performance, it has been observed by the pilots an engine micro stop, which can't be observed on the engine parameters, but is observed because of the vibration and the micro yaw produced.

- The parameters, the temperature and the pressure are correct.

- When the situation described above appears, the pilot reduces rpm, and it disappears. When he tries to increment the rpm, the vibration appears again.

- The vibration does not happen always.

Our mechanics has interchanged between engine RH and LH (To discard components wrong functionality):

- Carburetors

- Coils

- Ignition module

- Spark plugs

Do you know which can be the problem with this engine, that produces vibration due to some micro-stops during flight?
During this weekend the engine wrong functionality has appeared over 6000 ft. At 4000 ft the problem does not appear.

Which can be the problem of the engine, that appears with altitude?

Thanks

How many hours on the engine? When was the last time the carbs were synced? Have the prop blades been checked for equal pitch and checked the torque on the prop bolts? How old is the engine because the rubber isolators may need to be changed if they've hardened or softened. At lower rpms at times there can be a little harmonic vibration, but no a big vibration. How old and what is the gap on the spark plugs? This just may cause poor combustion in the cylinder and cause the vibration.

Read this maybe it will help:

    p.s.
Consider the possibility it may not be an engine vibration, but something else.
