Sudden power loss of engine is observed while flying at an altitude of 6000 Ft and engine rpm were 4000, OAT was 30 deg C. The aircraft started loosing height for continuous 5 minutes till 2500Ft altitude and rpm drop of 1000 rpm(from 4000 to 3000) occurred. Initially throttle was 45% then pilot increased throttle to full to restore the altitude but no way so he tried to return to landing and decreased throttle when suddenly engine rpm got increased from 3000 to 4000 and engine power also seemed to be restored. However pilot landed the aircraft safely.
Before this flight, new spark plugs introduced by Rotax were installed. Cause of this occurrence is still unknown. Admin is requested to kindly help us understand the reason of this problem.
