914 TCU Caution Light Solid

I'm a new Rotax Owner.
Anyone have experience with a solid (not blinking) TCU Caution light? It came on when I started up. The turbo is functioning normally. Manuals speak of blinking caution light and solid warning light but nothing on solid caution light. Thanks, Britt

    That is out of the ordinary..
    - The yellow caution light is indicate something wrong with the sensors or wiring.
    - The blinking warning light is for 5+ minutes at full power.
    - The "solid red" warning light if for exceeding the max manifold pressure.
    The yellow light should not be on solid. maybe the lamp is grounding? (it should not be connected to ground at any point, it is connected to the TCU by two wires)

    Is it possible that the lights are wired incorrectly, that is the wires for the red light go to the yellow light, and vice versa?

    Can you tell me if you have LED or Incandescent warning lights.

    Britt.
    We have had similar issues with two aircraft, one just last week. Generally not 100% bright but approx 40% glow.. There was another post a few months ago about this also.
    What we have found is some TCU,s seem to leak a few millivolts & this is enough to illuminate the LED lights but not the incandescent ones.
    We have ended up fitting another resistor to each circuit.
    If you could borrow another TCU and see if the light remains on that would answer a few questions.
