I am having problems with the cooling system on my 912.
I believe that the coolant is not circulating and running a high temperature.
Looking for suggestions to help me troubleshoot the problem.
Thank you for your help.

How do you know it‘s not circulating or is it just a guess?

When I run the engine, it gets a real high temperature and keeps climbing.
And when I shut it down, the little plastic tank that you add coolant in, now is way above the max fill line and just stays there. The radiator tank is full as it should be. That is why I think it isn't circulating.
    Thank you.

Check that the pick up tube in the overflow bottle did not come off. I had that happen and the bottle would fill up but when the engine cooled because the tube came off it could not draw the fluid back into the system.

If there is No circulation, (Water Pump Failed), the heads will be Hot but the Hoses and Radiator will be cold/warm.

It is more likely the thermostat is not opening.
In this case, the Hoses will be Hot but the Radiator will be bypassed and remain relatively cool.
