No central Australia is a lower altitude then where I normally fly and the temperature is almost the same as we are in the middle of winter over here. Engine operating temps were on the cooler side of normal the hole trip. At one fuel stop I had 100LL in the tanks and topped up with 91ron unleaded (that’s all I could get and ROTAX recommends no lower than 95 ron for the 100 HP 912) and that is when the low pressure issue started on that flight. Yes PULP stands for premium unleaded over here.

Do you also have "Winter" Gas?
The 95 gas likely remains full strength year-round.
In the U.S., especially in the North, they increase the light volatiles in the fuel during the winter to make starting at Arctic temperatures easier.
This increases the possibility of vapor lock issues at warmer temperatures.

You may have just gotten a batch of questionable fuel when filling up far from the major population centers.

Thanks Bill, yes it may have been the 91 Ron I used that one fuel stop. I don’t know of any winter fuel in the unleaded but they do put a additive in Diesel (not relevant) in winter. The unleaded we use will loose its octane value if it is not stored in a sealed container and goes bad pretty quickly.

Try installing a "mechanical fuel pressure gauge" with a T piece in the line to the existing pressure sensor. Had similar issue a couple of weeks ago and the pressures were fine it was the sender. (unless it exhibited power loss when this happened)

Have just read your reply John. I have not had the issue for the last month of flying but if it happens again I will try your suggestion
