ROTAX does not spec any particular product (guidelines in the operators manual and Heavy Maintenance Manual only refer to "Preservation oil").
But you can look for products with the Mil-C-6529C specification, such as AEROSHELL 2XN PRESERVATIVE FLUID, or PHILLIPS 66® AVIATION ANTI-RUST OIL. Also, there is a MIL-P-46002 specification for "spray atomized preservative oil" ( for spraying into cylinders, etc ) - "fogging oil" products with the MIL-P-46002 spec include RUST-X 400A, Nox-Rust 1100 VCI-10, Bauchem SIL-99...

after google, i have got Preservation Oils details.
When the winter period comes bringing shorter days and worse weather than is enjoyed during the summer months, many owners decide to hanger their aircraft and not fly until the Spring. An integral part of the process of preparing an aircraft for storage should be to use a preservation oil to give protection against corrosion, which greatly accelerates the rate of wear in an engine.

Dear Sir,
ROTAX 914 engines have been repaired from Franz Germany and are in storage for over 5 years. We did not performed any check over this period. Kindly give me instructions as per respective manuals to return these engines to service. It is further informed you that physically there is no sign of any corrosion.
