Hi

I have this 2013 912 80hp that recently had a propstrike. Not much, the first 3 cm. Engine running great before the fail.

Engine was out because the landing gear needed repair/replacement.

After reinstall the engine runs rough, out og balance and idle at 2800.

This has been tried:

Carb overhaul, all new inside.

Carb from other plane.

Carb housing from other plane with all new inside.

Leak test ok

Comp test ok

New plugs

Ofcourse mechanical set of carbs and so on.

With New carbs with idle stop set at 1 turn, the engine starts with an idle at 2800. If i try to reduce rpm and sync, i get sync at 2300 with left side open 3,5 turn and right side only 1/4 turn. Can not get it lower, still runs like shit though.

So i have a huge vaquum on the rigt side, meening the left side is pulling the load.

I Don't think ignition, both only loose 100 rpm on cut. Where can it get the fuel for the high rpm. Both choke renewed. Yes they are mounted correctly.

All lifters are hard as rocks, no metal on magnetic plug.

Havent testet airflow trough carb yet.

I look at carb problem all the time, why would ignition make it run at 2800 with one turn setting. That useally makes 1650.
