Jetting of 912 UL with 95 hp XTRA kit

Evening,

Being relatively new to the Rotax 912 I need some guidance as to the jetting of a 912 UL with the 95 hp XTRA kit.

Which would be correct, the main (155 or 158) and needle jet (2.72) left as for the 912 UL, or the main (155) and needle jet (2.70) for the 912 ULS?

Both have been suggested by two different AMOs.

Mark, the lack of response to your question suggests that you may need to post further info on your XTRA kit.

Carburation does not lend itself to cookie-cutter answers.

I would suspect the best source of information for you would be the developer/vendor of the 95 hp XTRA kit.

The vendor, Craftmasters Inc, Woodbridge, VA. 22191, has not responded to the e-mail query regarding the jetting.

No recommendations for jetting are made in installation manual, only refernce to sparkplugs and fuel octane.

Information gathered locally is a 912 UL with this 95hp XTRA kit should be jetted as a 912 ULS.

The 912 ULS configuration has been used and the engine, thus far, has run better than before.
