Doing SB's 073 & 074 on My 914. Carb Sync?

If you did not adjust or remove the throttle cables perhaps you will be fine.  Normally anytime we play with the carbs a sync is a good idea.  

it will take a bit of practice to learn the Carbmate, i still like the old school gauges but many prefer the Carbmate after some practice.  So if you changed anything in the linkage or took off the linkage to do the SBs then for sure sync.

Curious where you came up with those numbers -- Service Bulletins "073" and "074" ? I searched SBs on this site and flyrotax.com and did not see any SBs with those numbers.

I'm guessing he's referring to SB 912-073 (carb needle circlip replacement), and 912-074 (carb float replacement).  The 914 SBs have different numbers for the same procedures.  

Sometimes it's easier on the forum to give the name, instead of the number, of a service bulletin, so those reading it don't have to do research to know what is being referred to.

Those are the 912 SB numbers.  The numbers for the 914 are different, but they're the same SBs.  I just used the 912 numbers because I remembered those.

You're right, I should have used the names, not the numbers.  Bad assumption on my part.
