I did a hose / rubber change the last two days. I double checked the number on the package. It is for sure 47 x 2 "O" ring 230-300

You do not specify which 912 engine you have.  There are 5 different variations.

The current parts catalog  (E4, R4, 2021) does not list the 44x2 Ring.
The Edition 4, Rev 3 (2018) and EARLIER catalogs show the 44x2 ring and list the serial numbers of the engines that use that part.

All 912S and 912ULS and all current 912UL, A, and F engines use the 47x2 Ring.
The Older 912A, 912F, and 912UL's use the 44x2 Ring.

The current catalog reflects the current production engines and may not be appropriate to what you have.
If you have a 912UL, A, or F engine, what is your engine's Serial Number?
I will let you know if you should be looking in an older parts catalog and can supply one if needed.

    Hello Bill,

    Thanks for the tip!

    My Engine is 912 S3.

I checked the previous revision of the IPC and as you said, i found the O-Ring 44x2. However it appears as Not Applicable to this type of Engine.

So it seems i have to replace the O-Ring 47x2 PN 230300 as Roger mentioned.

    Thanks!
