Michelle i notice from your pics that there seems to be very small white corrosion specks on both the aluminium tube and the sensor casing.
I would firstly very gently push and pull the 2 wires where they go into the spade terminals. If there is ANY movement then that would be the place to start. I also noticed that the crimper used was a single compression type which only half does the job. Next if that is corrosion I can see I would remove the spades from the small screw connections and clean them up as well.
These are easy no cost things to try before going down the replacement path.
