Da20 with a 80hp 912. Constant speed prop.

When you pull the throttle back MAP doesn’t decrease properly. You can hear the engine still producing power and the plane isn’t slowing down as quickly as it normally would.

Prior to maintenance when you pull the throttle back the MAP drops to around 10” with the throttle all the way back (idle). The is the min on the gauge.

After maintenance, the MAP stays around 20-22” MAP WITH engine idling.

We have been chasing an overheating issue which is mostly solved (defective Acorn remanufactured muffler). The carbs were disassembled and re assembled, airbox, etc.

Any idea what could be wrong?
