912ULS gearbox installation bolt torque specs.

The small gear on the crankshaft is a left hand thread to tighten (it's a reverse thread) and it's torque is 150 ft/lbs. It is held on with Loctite 680 so it is to be nice and hot to remove. You will need a crankcase locking pin to either remove or install a new gear. Clean the threads and apply Loctite 680 to the new one before you install it. Put a lot more than one drop on it.

The small 6mm bolts in the case are 90 in/lbs and the two larger 8mm bolts are 18 ft/lbs.

Access to the Maintenance Manuals is not restricted.

From the Line Maintenence Manual, Chapter 05-50-00,  Page 10, Step 11.
 

Tighten 2 Allen screws M8x45 and 8 Allen screws M6x45 with washers 6.4 diagonally from each other.

Tightening torque M6: 10 Nm (89 in.lb.).

Tightening torque M8: 25 Nm (18 ft.lb.).
