metric Hose Fittings 912 iS???????

My new Australian delivered 912 iS engine has metric fittings and so has the oil reservoir and fuel pump assembly. American engines are delivered with AN connections.
Can anyone tell me exactly what European metric Standard (DIN or otherwise) these fittings are? They look about 37degree cones. They are the reverse (convex) compared to AN fittings and as far as I can tell there is no reference anywhere in the Rotax installation manual as to what standards apply..
Naturally for oil and fuel lines in the engine compartment "looks about right" is not sufficient reference, it could result in a life threatening mistake.
