the pressure sensor in that location losses its best feature: the Stock EMU calculates when the fuel filter is becoming contaminated and warns the pilot "check fuel filter"
This is an incredibly useful feature and with many engine related crashes being related to fuel contamination it would be a shame to waste it.
The sensor HAS to be before the fine filter for this feature to work.

I should clarify: the sensor has to be between the pump outlet and the fine-filter inlet.

Thanks Rob, that does make sense. I think I need to get some photos of other people's installations to see how they have made them. Mark

For anyone else looking for information, I have been informed by the UK Rotax service agent, that the Rotax part number for the plug alone is : 881302.
It is also available from non-Rotax sources with a cable already attached
It is made by SSI Technologies Inc and is called a Packard connector
    DigiKey distribute them as follows:

If anyone has a photograph or a link to an inline adapter for the pressure sensor to fit into, I am still chasing this part.
    Mark.

    Hi Mark,
can you provide a photo of your filter/hose/fittings?
That will help to figure out an adaptor for the sensor.
