For completeness, this is my solution to mounting the fuel pressure sensor. Ended up having an autosports company at Siverstone UK, weld a 12mm adapter collar to a standard inline componant that was designed for a 8mm thread. Works well, but there is obviously a gap in the market for someone. Mark.

I have a 914 and the black wire on the wiring plug to the fuel pressure sensor came out . how do you release the pin from the plug so I can reconnet the wire to the pin? my plug has a red plastic clip that I removed along with the yellow silicone band but can"t get the pin out. any help will be appreciated. Mark A.
