    while I understand and respect Rotax right to protect its proprietary rights, I fail to understand why Rotax would supply a fuse box containing easily replaceable fuses without explaining what each fused circuit is for. There is only one (fortunately very good) Rotax distributor in Australia, but it's a big country and I do not relish the idea of being stranded thousands of kilometers from home with no idea as to why the engine is not working correctly and no way of even isolating the trouble -especially if the cause turns out to be short circuit and blown fuse due to a chafed wire.

    Rotax makes an excellent product, however the company might wish to reconsider selling engines to the experimental aircraft community if it believes we are incapable of simple troubleshooting.

    That Info is readily available.
    See the 912iS Heavy Maintenance Manual, Section 76-10-00, page 39.

    All Fuses are identified with charts and Drawings. :)
