Hi all,

This is my first post on this forum.
I have been tasked with the design of the wiring for a new two-seater powered by a Rotax 912 iS.
My customer asks for an overvoltage protection of the aircraft side of the circuits.

In the 912 iS, is an overvoltage surveillance of the two alternators included in the logic of the ECU/Fusebox, possibly disconnecting the offending alternator/voltage regulator in case of voltage excursion ?

In that case, an additional OV module would be useless.

Thanks in advance for any info,

Gilles,
France
