  • Re: Fuel Pressure output difference

    Thank you.

Throughout the Sensor output values, there is a difference of 0.04 to 0.05VDC between the measured and expected sensor output. Fine for us.

    1. Could you please tell us the Sensor output Accuracy value?
    2. Why am I asking this is, We are unable to find the formal specification/datasheet of this sensor anywhere? Could you please share it. We are looking for the accuracy of the sensor.

We believe Rotax could make and share the sensor's specification/datasheet.

If it is fine with you, then what is the issue.
The sensors are typically quoted as 1%.
Your readings are consistently about 0.05v too low.
This would indicate a possible measuring error offset.
Subtract 0.05v from your measurements and you are ±0.01v(0.25%) across the range.

Rotax buys the sensors from outside vendors and has them rebranded.
You're not going to get the spec sheet from Rotax.
Remember that this is not a dedicated fuel pressure sender, it is just a generic pressure sender.
Gasoline, Diesel, alcohol, water, Air, etc., it does not care. It just reports pressure.
If you were to search online for Pressure Senders, you will likely find a look-alike unit with the same specs.
It will probably be the manufacturer that sources the Rotax part.
