Hello,

I have a Rotax 912 iS installed on my plane, it has now 52 hours

On one of my latest flights, during warming up I notice Lane B lamp illumintaed and the EMS displaied "Lane B ECU error", all engine instruments continued to diplay data.

After reseting Lane B (toggelling the switch ON->OFF->ON), the lamp extingished and the error diapeared did not reporuce after.

Any idea what might have caused the lamp to illumintae or the ECU to display an error?

The only difference I can think is that it was a hot day (temp on the ground were at about 34-35 degrees centigrate, yet the engine was still warming and the error disapeared after lane B toggle ON->OFF->ON)

Thank you

Owning or having immediate access to a BUDS Dongle is not an option when owning this type of engine.
"Lane B ECU Error", is just your ECU's way of restating that the Lamp is ON.
Cycling the Power was the corect way to clear the fault.  It will Not clear on its own.

But the underlying fault is still unknown and unresolved.
You can expect it to return.
It is recommened that you connect the BUDS software to the engine to positively identify the reason for the warning.
