912iS B alternator connections

I have a 912iS engine installed in a Sling 2 and I would like to confirm that the fusebox battery connection can be disconnected while the engine is running as this will leave no load on the B alternator. I currently have a master switch that disconnects the battery from the main bus but this leaves the B alternator still connected. For safety reasons I would like to add a switch in the B alternator connection (Fusebox battery connection) so I can remove all power from the main bus in flight in case of electrical issue or fire. Just want to confirm that this will not cause any damage to the B alternator or regulator. Thanks very much. Andy
