This is probably not a ROTAX problem.

Installation is a 912iS with a Dynon Skyview and a VPX.

Shortly after take off (every take off) the RED MASTER WARNING comes on on the Dynon Skyview.  VPX FAILURE. It is caused by an  Alternator failure detection. There is not an Alternator failure, battery volts and Lane Volts are 14 volts. The VPX is wired according to their manual, and because the alternators on the Rotax are internal, the field wiring on the VPX is not made. Thus I think I need to cure the problem by:

Finding a way to disable this false warning without disabling the other monitor warnings on the VPX.

Finding a way to connect the field winding of the alternator to the VPX.

Finding a way to disable the Dynon warning without affecting the other monitor warnings.

As a last resort rewiring the a/c without a VPX and putting the VPX on e bay!
