My RV12is with 25hrs (912is engine) experienced a LANE A fault light BEFORE engine start. I observed the EGT on cylinder 4 was reporting 1830 degrees on my Dynon HDX display. AFTER engine start the EGT on cylinder 4 was reporting normal temps, in line with cylinders 1, 2 and 3. The LANE A fault light continued to flash red even though the EGT was normal.
I shut down and turned the Lanes OFF and Master OFF.
I ran through another engine start sequence with the same FAULT - EGT 4.
QUESTION: Is this problem caused by a faulty EGT probe / sensor or is it something else?
Any input / guidance is appreciated.
