hello,

i have a problem which was described in one topic on this forum. Rough first start, engine for first 10 sec is working like without one or two cylinders. When oil is at 70 deg C or more, the engine starts normally.
Someone wrote here that cleaning rail and injectors solved the problem. New engine, 70 hours.

my queestion is: is there any diffculty to remove them? Any tips?

regards

Greg

Hi we had a 912is sport with power issues that were ultimately due to a blocked exhaust baffle. However along the journey we suspected the injectors.Very easy to remove and an automotive injection shop can clean and flow test for you.

    Hi,

The first thing to do is to extract the data from the ECU, do you have the the data file? if yes send it and I can have look on it.

for your safty don't listen the personH who have the solution. whithout enquiries, the cleaning ofrail and injectors is an opération of the previous century... Do you realy think it's credible that the dirt made troubles only when the engine is cold? seriously? Have a look on the starting enrichment ordened by the T° sensor it's more credible.

    Hello Kristof

    Thank you for your message.

But I must admit that T sensor fault would cause troubles with firing up the engine. And my engine fires up immediately. But for few seconds it just shakes like non synchronized. And as you can see below, after few seconds starts to work properly.

I hope you find an answer to your problem. I have a 915is that has started this way since new in april. 105 hours now and has never stated the first start. I start and immediately shut it off and it starts perfect the second start. I have been in touch with some that work for rotax but haven't found an answer other than I was told to shut it off when it starts rough.
