What happens if you turn the master off? Engine still runs, I know, because I ground tested it for a second. But is anything adverse happening to the engine with the master off? The purpose of my question is because if flying and ever smell something burning, I’d want to shut off the master to kill power to any wires that are burning. But is there anything to worry about with the engine after turning off the master in flight? Generator A continues to run it seems, powering the electronic ignition, so can you run the engine continuously with the master off?
